1/2 cup mayo
cayenne pepper
1 red and 1 orange large peppers or 5-6 small peppers
4 cloves of garlic
3-4 green onions
1 egg
2-3 oz butter
2 table spoons of lemon juice
1 cup bread crumbs
Sauce
You can prepare your own sauce by combining and mixing well the following ingredients (not included above): 3 table spoons of mayo, 1 table spoon of chopped fresh dill, 1 table spoon of chopped fresh parsley, 3 table spoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of mustard with seeds.Crab Cakes
Combine together egg, crab meat, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, and chopped onions in a medium sized bowl.
Chop peppers very finely and add them to the bowl. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper, garlic, mayo and lemon juice.
Stir everything well.
Form crab cake gently, approx. size of palm. Coat crab cakes in bread crumbs.
Melt butter in a skillet and add cakes. Saute crab cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
