Cheese flatbread

Sugar 1 tbs
Salt 1 tsp
Dry yeast 2 tsp
Olive oil 1 tbs
Warm water 300 ml
Flour 350 gr

Mozzarella 100gr
Feta cheese 100gr
Dry pat cheese 100 gr
Green onions and dill
1 Egg yolk


Mix warm water, sugar, salt and dry yeast and let it stand for 5-10 mints. Add olive oil and mix in flour in small portions. The dough needs to be soft and stretch easily.

Oil a large bowl and put the dough in. Cover with plastic and let it stand for 1 - 1 and a half or until the dough doubles in size. Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces. Cover two pieces with plastic while you work the third piece.

Flatten the dough with your fingers at first and stretch it to form a flat bread.  Put a handful of grated cheese and greens and close the bread by forming a sack.








Roll out the dough with a rolling pin. Brush the surface of the bread with egg yolk, put  cheese on the top and place the bread on a oiled tray.

Let it stand for 30 minutes in a warm place. Preheat oven to 500 degree. Bake the bread for 10-15 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
